Integrative Medicine for the Underserved (IM4US), a project of the Tides Center, is committed to advancing equitable, affordable, and accessible integrative healthcare for underserved communities. Focused on equity, diversity, and inclusion, IM4US supports a diverse network of health practitioners through outreach, education, research, and advocacy. Its philosophy emphasizes health care as a human right, the importance of dismantling systemic oppression, the integration of mind-body-spirit care, attention to social determinants of health, and the value of diverse healing modalities and collaboration to enhance patient outcomes and sustain provider engagement.
