The Brazilian Health and Nature Network was created in 2021 to strengthen the link between nature and health in Brazil, a country with exceptional biodiversity and many conservation areas. The network, with about 70 members from health, conservation, and communication fields, produced a 2023 manifesto advocating for the integration of nature-health relationships into public policies. The manifesto gathered support from 440 individuals and institutions and was officially delivered to key governmental and environmental organizations.
