The RAND Research Across Complementary and Integrative Health (REACH) Center was established in 2020 to support research efforts at complementary and integrative health (CIH) training institutions, many of which have lost research departments due to funding shortages. With support from NCCIH starting in 2023, the Center offers an online platform facilitating collaboration among researchers from 13 institutions. It provides technical assistance, training, and access to research resources, including funding opportunities and proposal support. Thanks to additional funding and engagement, the Center is helping revitalize research capacity across CIH institutions.
