Coleção: WHO Global TM Summit

The project provides a comprehensive mapping of the statutory regulation of Traditional and Complementary Medicine (TCM) practitioners across Canada and the United States. It covers professions such as acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, massage therapy, midwifery, and naturopathy. In Canada, a map illustrates the provinces where each profession is regulated, based on data from The TCIM Lab (2023). For the United States, a detailed map and table present state-by-state regulatory information, including TCM "safe harbor" laws, and summarize critical data on educational requirements, number of licensed practitioners, gender distribution, and mean annual income (in USD) for major TCM professions, sourced from PLOS Global Public Health (2023).
