Founded in 2018, the TCIM Researchers Network connects universities, governments, and scientific societies to promote research, knowledge dissemination, and the implementation of evidence-based policies in Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine (TCIM). The network fosters global collaboration, with a presence in 41 countries across continents, and is linked to initiatives such as the Brazil Chapter of the ISCMR, TCIM Americas (involving 16 countries), the TCIH Coalition, and the Planetary Health Alliance. Structurally, the network comprises 96 researchers organized into 14 committees, each focused on specific TCIM outcomes and fields such as Integrative Oncology, Ayurveda, Mental Health, Naturopathy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Its main achievement has been the development of 26 evidence maps in partnership with BIREME/PAHO, summarizing findings from over 1,500 systematic reviews related to clinical outcomes in TCIM.
