This activity of the PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center for Traditional and Complementary Medicine - Peru focuses on analyzing and evaluating the essential components for integrating Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) into health systems across the Americas. Using a systematic search and systematization process—drawing on Peru’s experience—a structural map of 12 key elements was developed to guide implementation with an intercultural approach. Findings were validated through country consultations and presentations.
