A biotechnology company in Togo is researching African medicinal plants to develop improved traditional medicines that are both accessible and effective. Led by Gafan AOD Amousu, the initiative aims to integrate ancestral medicine with modern research to provide affordable health solutions. These improved traditional medicines (MTA) also contribute to species conservation and have the potential to expand beyond Togo.
