The European region, spanning 53 WHO Member States, boasts diverse traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine (TCIM) practices shaped by its rich political, economic, and cultural histories. From ancient Greek medicine to Scandinavian Sami healing traditions and 19th-century naturopathy, homeopathy, and anthroposophic medicine, Europe’s TCIM heritage is vast. Today, countries like Germany, Switzerland, and the UK are integrating these practices into clinical care and national health systems. This exhibit showcases key TCIM advancements, including WHO training benchmarks and immersive video demonstrations, while highlighting the work of organizations like EUROCAM in promoting TCIM across the region.
