Through the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine, WHO is advancing research priorities, standardizing data collection, and promoting sustainable biodiversity management. Additionally, WHO is developing the Traditional Medicine Global Library with an intellectual property framework to ensure equitable access and benefits. The upcoming World Health Assembly will review the new Global Strategy for Traditional Medicine, and WHO will host the second WHO Global Traditional Medicine Summit in India. WHO remains committed to strengthening the evidence base and integrating ancient traditions with modern innovations to achieve Health for All.
